Microsoft ha rilasciato l’aggiornamento firmware di giugno 2016 per Surface Pro 4. Per aggiornare è sufficiente fare una ricerca su Windows Update.

- Microsoft driver update for Surface UEFI v105.1203.768.0 – improves system stability when the device resumes operation from sleep or hibernation, and optimizes battery use in connected standby.
- Microsoft driver update for Surface Integration v1.0.81.0 – resolves issues where the touch screen remains active when the cover is closed against the screen.
