Il 13 settembre 2017, in diretta da Seattle, si è tenuto il Microsoft Edge Web Summit 2017. Si è spaziato da sessioni tematiche per gli sviluppatori alle novità di EdgeHTML 16 in arrivo con l’aggiornamento Fall Creators Update, fino a scoprire come il browser viene sviluppato.

Le sessioni hanno riguardato tutto quello che concerne le prestazioni, l’accessibilità, i nuovi strumenti di test disponibili, i trucchi per costruire una Progressive Web App, l’aggiunta di pagamenti ai siti web, la creazione di layout moderni grazie ai nuovi CSS e altre novità.
